Rohit Shetty on Simmba: Ranveer Singh can keep the audience riveted with his performance

With Simmba nearing its release date, comparisons with Singham are bound to happen. Rohit Shetty, in an interview, said that each the characters are utterly completely different. Rohit Shetty’s Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan is making the proper noise before the release. The trailer, songs, and posters have piqued the interest of the viewers. The trio is presently promoting the film and fans are eager to see Ranveer and Sara along on the big screen. Rohit Shetty gave fans their favorite onscreen cop along with his film Singham. Now, with Simmba nearing its unleash date, comparisons are bound to happen. Shetty, in an interview with Mid-Day, said that each the characters are utterly completely different. Simmba is an anti-hero and not like Singham. Ranveer’s character within the movie is dishonest and takes bribes. Ajay Devgn’s character was the one who fought back of these parts. Rohit said, “If I had to make just another cop film, I would have made Singham 3; after all, it is already a big brand. Hopefully, Simmba too, will become a brand. The character and universe of Simmba is completely different from that of Singham. Simmba is an anti-hero. He is dishonest, notorious and accepts bribes until circumstances change him.”

Rohit additionally told that the role of Sangram Bhalerao was made for Ranveer Singh. He said that when he had narrated the script to Ranveer, the actor liked it. Rohit feels lucky that he got to cast Ranveer in his bold project. He’s of the view that currently that he sees Simmba, nobody may have pulled it off as Ranveer did. Ranveer has continually praised the director and additionally expressed his admiration for Shetty. Rohit, too, is all praises for his leading actor.
