The new mom-to-be of Bollywood, Mira Kapoor has shared an adorable photo on Instagram with her husband Shahid Kapoor and giving us all some major relationship goals. Though she hasn’t added any caption but an kiss emoji, the image spoke for itself.
Shahid will be taking a short paternity leave after Mira gives birth, but that will be only for one week. he stated,
“During Misha’s birth [in 2016], I took a couple of months off. This time too, I was negotiating to take a month-long break, but things didn’t work out. I will get only a week off from work. It is too short a duration, but such are the circumstances”
After the break, Shahid will start shooting for the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy (2017) ,whose original is directed by Sandeep Vanga starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. The Hindi remake will also be directed by Vanga.
There’s no denying that Shahid and Mira are awesome parents who have a two year old daughter, Misha Kapoor. And how much Misha mean to her, Mira expressed in a statement saying,
“I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work. Why did I have her (daughter Misha)? She is not a puppy, you know. I want to be there for her as a mother”
But later she was slammed badly for her statement, and some thinks that was a dig to her husbands Ex Kareena kapoor Khan.
And replying to her statement Kareena later said,
“What kind of a mother I am is something that will unfold with time. I will not scream from rooftops about experiencing motherhood or how much I love Taimur. There’s always the pressure of being judged, no matter what you do. It’s about how you deal with it. Every pregnancy and every mother’s journey with her child during those nine months and afterwards is different. You can’t draw parallels. No one out there really knows me or what I am feeling at a given time. How can anyone decide on my behalf whether I am supposed to feel depressed or if I can step out before 45 days? If I’m spoken about like that, what would it be like for other women?”
